The Opportunity

They are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join their dedicated team of professionals. You'll manage a varied portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive accounting and tax services, and play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses, consultants, and individuals requiring tax return services.
• Accounts & Taxation: Prepare financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Mentorship: Support and guide junior team members, reviewing their work and fostering their professional growth.
• Practice Management: Engage in budgeting, work-in-progress tracking, billing, and timesheet management.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the accounting practices and client services.

About You

• Qualifications: ACCA qualified, finalist, or QBE with substantial experience in a general practice setting.
• Experience: Proficient in preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients; audit experience is not required.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support and mentor colleagues.
