Transfer Pricing Manager
Vacancy type: Tax – Transfer Pricing
Location: London
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: £76,000 to £90,000
The Role
A growing and evolving transfer pricing team is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to support the continued expansion of its advisory offering. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, friendly team and to help develop both the role and client base further.
The position has arisen due to increasing demand for transfer pricing services from a portfolio of international, entrepreneurial clients requiring practical and commercial transfer pricing solutions.
Candidates should have a solid foundation in providing transfer pricing advice across a range of industries and sectors, with practical experience in advising on the UK’s transfer pricing legislation. Those with broader knowledge of international corporate tax principles will find this a particularly rewarding role.
In return, the role offers exposure to a wide variety of international mid-market entrepreneurial and private wealth clients, contributing to both your technical development and commercial experience.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate can expect to be involved in:
- Proactively managing and delivering transfer pricing projects, including technical input, resourcing, and cost management, reporting to the Transfer Pricing Director.
- Providing practical and robust transfer pricing advice, and delivering high-quality TP design and documentation projects for review and sign-off.
- Advising on intellectual property transactions, including DEMPE analysis, business restructuring, and operational transfer pricing solutions.
- Supporting the growth of the transfer pricing service line through business development, proposals, and pipeline management.
- Assisting with proposals, budgets, and the development of new transfer pricing work streams, including audit support.
- Project managing the delivery of multi-territory transfer pricing solutions for an international client base.
- Building relationships with the wider tax and client service teams across regions.
- Training, coaching, and developing junior team members.
- Leading on the financial management of your own portfolio and working with a network of international specialists.
- Responding proactively to client and stakeholder needs, maintaining effective and consistent communication.
The firm values flexibility and collaboration. Working closely with your line manager, you will develop a mix of work that best suits your strengths and career goals.
The Team
The Transfer Pricing Team forms part of a wider Corporate Tax practice, providing specialist transfer pricing advice across diverse industries and client types.
The team is led by a Transfer Pricing Director reporting into an International Tax Partner and works nationally across multiple office locations. It is a small but fast-growing team, focused entirely on marketing, tendering, and delivering transfer pricing projects, as well as handling related international tax matters. Regular in-person collaboration and knowledge sharing are a core part of the team culture.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax professional with several years’ post-qualification experience in transfer pricing. You will have:
- Strong and relevant experience in complex transfer pricing matters, including IP, business restructuring, and operational TP solutions.
- A background in international tax, with practical experience in UK transfer pricing legislation.
- Experience advising on debt, thin capitalisation, and ATCAs, with sound knowledge of the Corporate Interest Restriction rules.
- The ability to adapt advice to suit the client’s size and commercial context.
- A collaborative mindset and proven relationship-building skills.
- Strong project management experience from proposal through to delivery and budget management.
- A desire for technical excellence and continuous learning.
- A degree-level education (or equivalent) and a professional qualification such as ACA, CTA, ADIT, or law (or international equivalent).

- 35-hour working week with a hybrid working policy (up to three days from home, depending on business needs).
- Contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ annual leave, life assurance, and a range of flexible and family-friendly benefits.
- Eligibility for a profit-sharing plan (paid annually in December).
