Role Purpose
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-value tax advisory services, with a particular focus on corporate reconstructions, reorganisations, and structuring projects.
You will play a key role in leading client engagements, managing project delivery, and ensuring that complex tax matters are handled with technical precision and commercial awareness.
You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and grow the firm’s tax advisory offering, while also mentoring and developing junior team members.
You will build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on strategic tax matters, supporting clients through periods of change and growth.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy, Performance & Growth
- Lead and deliver tax advisory projects, focusing on corporate reconstructions, reorganisations, and group structuring
- Manage multiple client projects, ensuring delivery is profitable and within agreed budgets
- Identify opportunities for additional advisory services to support business growth
- Monitor utilisation and project profitability on a regular basis
- Communicate with senior stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and opportunities
- Support the growth of the tax advisory service line as a key area of the firm
Key Measures:
- Personal and business revenue targets
- Timesheet completion
- Write-offs below 5% of assignments
- Minimum billable utilisation of 70%
Client
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic tax insights aligned to client objectives
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, particularly with business owners and senior decision-makers
- Deliver work to a high professional standard, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Provide proactive advice on tax risks and opportunities, especially relating to restructurings
- Support the development of client portfolios and strengthen the firm’s reputation

- Net Promoter Score (NPS)

Process
- Scope, plan, and deliver projects effectively, balancing technical accuracy with commercial practicality
- Review technical deliverables including reports, step plans, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and resource utilisation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax legislation
People
- Manage, mentor, and support junior team members
- Lead by example, maintaining high standards of technical quality and client service
- Contribute to internal training on advisory and restructuring topics

Expected Experience

- Track record of building trusted client relationships
