· Prepare personal tax returns, often with interesting personal tax affairs
· Build and maintain strong client relationships, answering questions by phone and email
· Work towards reviewing your own work, with oversight from the Practice Manager or Partner as needed
What you’ll bring
· Experience within a UK accountancy practice, ideally managing your own portfolio
· Strong technical knowledge in accounts, corporation tax and personal tax
· Clear communication skills and a client-first approach
· Comfortable working independently while still being part of a team
· Practical, hands-on experience valued as highly as qualifications (QBE welcome)
Why join
· A supportive, approachable team culture where everyone knows each other
· Free parking, air-conditioned offices, and a peaceful countryside setting
· Flexible working with the option of one day a week from home
· 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
· Study support where useful, along with ongoing CPD
· A practice with steady growth, loyal clients, and plenty of variety in the work
· Social events and a friendly atmosphere that make the office a good place to be
