Audit Senior
Location: Eastleigh, Southampton
Salary: Up to £54,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent, full time
Work pattern: Hybrid, 2 days WFH

A modern, forward-thinking practice with around 80 people and a dedicated audit and accounts team of 30. The role
This position is suited to a qualified or nearly qualified ACA/ACCA auditor looking to take on more responsibility and step into a leadership position within the audit team. You’ll lead audits from planning through to completion, supervise junior staff, and work closely with Managers and Partners across a varied portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities:
· Lead audits through planning, fieldwork and completion stages
· Manage day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships
· Supervise and review work of juniors and Semi Seniors, providing coaching and feedback
· Prepare accounts in line with audit requirements and technical standards
· Report findings to Managers and Partners, supporting the delivery of high-quality client service
· Continue to develop strong technical knowledge, including FRS 102 and relevant auditing standards
What you’ll bring
· ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with strong experience)
· Solid audit background within practice, with experience leading assignments
· Strong technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
· Ability to manage junior staff and review work effectively
· Organised, proactive approach with confidence managing multiple engagements
· Full UK driving licence (travel to client sites required)
