Are you an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a strong people leader with proven portfolio management skills to join a progressive, full-service accountancy practice with a 70+ year history and a reputation for delivering quality across diverse sectors.

🌟 The Opportunity

As Audit Manager, you’ll oversee a varied client portfolio (c.80–90% audit), from academies to property groups, including large, well-known businesses. You’ll lead and inspire a team, support Partners, and play a key role in business development and firm growth.

🔑 What You’ll Be Doing:

• 📊 Managing a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments
• 🤝 Supporting Partners and attending client meetings
• 👩‍💼 Leading, mentoring, and developing staff (2–3 direct reports + team leadership across trainees)
• 🗂️ Planning, managing, and handing completed files to Partners
• 📈 Driving business development and contributing to pitches
• 💬 Liaising with clients, finance teams, and other internal departments
• 📑 Overseeing WIP, billing, and departmental responsibilities
• 🧑‍🏫 Playing a central role in team building and trainee mentoring

👀 What We’re Looking For:

• ✅ ACA/ACCA qualified
• 📂 Solid audit experience across mixed sectors
• 📌 Proven portfolio management track record
• 👥 Strong leadership and staff management skills
• 💻 IT literate – Sage/Xero; CaseWare a bonus
• 🚗 Must have own car and full, clean driving licence
