Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Personal Tax Manager. The Personal Tax Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Provide expert advice on overseas tax matters, non-UK domiciled individuals, inheritance tax, and year-end tax planning.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact and overseeing billing and WIP management.
- Prepare and review tax returns, including trust and estate returns, TRS, IHT 10-year charges, and other complex calculations.
- Collaborate with partners on firm policies and tax team growth.
- Support business development efforts and proactively identify opportunities for client engagement.
- Mentor and coach trainees within the team, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Qualifications
- ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of IRIS Personal Tax and Trust Tax (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach.
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
