As an Entry-Level Tax Associate in our Disputes Team, you will assist the
Directors, Practice Manager, and Senior Managers across a variety of dispute-resolution tasks, contribute to client engagements, and help drive the execution of technical work.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in resolving tax disputes and you will gain exposure to high-level, technically challenging work.

Key responsibilities
• Attend meetings with prospective and existing clients and prepare detailed meeting notes, action plans and prepare workplans.
• Help coordinate engagements with clients, other professional advisers and HMRC whilst providing exceptional levels of client service.
• Assist the Practice Manager with the client take on process including drafting and detailing our scope of work, drafting fee quotations, and assisting with the preparation of client take on sheets for AML purposes
• Conduct legal, technical, and factual research to gather relevant tax law, procedural rules, and HMRC guidance.
• Prepare tax calculations and supporting computations.
• Assist with analysis of bank accounts and other financial information.
• Prepare drafts of correspondence, reports and disclosure submissions.
• Support with overall project management of cases such as tracking deliverables, deadlines and billing.
• Maintain and update internal databases and case files to ensure all relevant documents are stored, version-controlled, and accessible.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and assist us to build precedent libraries and assist with technical updates for newsletters and our social media.
• Recording time worked on our time recording system to ensure accurate billing on client accounts
