M&A and Transactions Tax Assistant Manager / Manager
Locations: Bristol, Leeds, Nottingham
The Role
An expanding Transactions Tax team is seeking Assistant Managers and Managers to support a wide range of UK and international clients including owner-managed businesses, corporates and private equity-backed groups.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to transaction-related advisory work including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and cross-border projects.
Background and Experience
Candidates should have:
- Minimum three years’ relevant experience for Assistant Manager level or four years’ experience for Manager level
- Exposure to:
- Corporate tax advisory
- Tax due diligence
- Acquisition and disposal structuring
- Cross-border transactions
- Reorganisations and demergers
- Management tax issues
- ATT/CTA and/or ACA qualification
- Experience dealing directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact
Additional Requirements
- Strong UK corporate tax advisory knowledge
- Interest in transactions and international tax matters
- Good understanding of tax accounting and compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and jurisdictions
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
