Corporate Tax Senior Manager

Location: Guildford

Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 (DOE)

Contract: Permanent, full time

Work pattern: Hybrid

The opportunity

You’ll take the lead on complex corporate tax engagements, overseeing compliance and advisory work while managing a portfolio of key clients. Alongside building strong external relationships, you’ll mentor your team, contribute to business development, and help shape the firm’s approach to technical excellence and service delivery.

What you’ll be doing

· Managing and reviewing complex corporate tax work for a varied portfolio of clients

· Providing high-level technical and commercial tax advice on compliance and planning

· Acting as the main client contact, building trusted relationships and identifying new opportunities

· Overseeing a team, providing coaching, feedback and professional development support

· Collaborating with other departments to deliver joined-up client solutions

· Monitoring workflow, resourcing and project delivery across your area of responsibility

· Supporting Partners and Directors with business development and strategic growth initiatives

What we’re looking for

· CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA qualified (or equivalent)

· Strong background in corporate tax within a UK practice environment

· Confident leading complex engagements and providing clear commercial advice

· Skilled at managing client relationships and mentoring others

· Proactive, collaborative and adaptable in approach

· Keen interest in developing processes and driving improvement
