Job Purpose

We're seeking a talented individual to join our corporate tax team in London, which is responsible for tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of business clients. As Senior Manager you will be responsible for managing a full client portfolio of corporate compliance with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality delivery. In this role you will also be expected to manage risk and financial performance, mentor junior colleagues and drive growth through identifying and pursuing business development opportunities. Further, you will have the opportunity to work with Directors/Partners on consultancy and advisory projects varying in complexity.

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a broad portfolio of corporate compliance clients
  • Undertaking consultancy work and ad hoc advisory cases
  • Providing exceptional client service
  • Identifying growth opportunities on client portfolio
  • Staff and team management and development, including monitoring staff performance
  • Involvement in business development activities
  • Ensuring internal procedures are followed, and take account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have 

  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry
  • Technically capable tax adviser who is able to manage complex client work
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
  • Existing business development skills and appetite to grow business
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
