The opportunity
As Corporate Tax Associate Director, you’ll oversee complex and high-value tax engagements, providing strategic input on compliance and advisory work. You’ll lead a capable team, manage key client relationships and play a central role in developing both the department and its people.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing large and technically challenging corporate tax assignments from planning through to completion
- Providing expert tax advice and reviewing final packs for higher-risk clients
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships
- Leading, mentoring and developing team members, supporting progression and performance
- Overseeing resource allocation and workflow to ensure smooth delivery across the region
- Staying current with legislative developments and sharing knowledge through internal training
- Collaborating with Partners and Directors on business development and strategic planning
- Promoting the firm’s services and identifying new opportunities within your network
What we’re looking for
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong background in corporate tax, with experience at senior manager or associate director level
- Confident managing complex technical work and providing clear commercial advice
- Skilled leader, capable of motivating and developing others
- Organised, proactive and commercially minded, with strong communication skills
- Comfortable contributing to strategic initiatives and departmental growth
