The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Audit Assistant to join the firm’s expanding Corporate Services (Audit) team. This is an ideal next step for someone early in their audit career who’s looking to develop quickly within a highly supportive and structured training programme.
Your Role
Working alongside experienced professionals, your responsibilities will grow in line with your experience and include:
- Assisting on, and eventually leading, audit assignments for a broad range of clients
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Supporting audit planning and fieldwork
- Developing knowledge of UK corporation tax
- Working closely with managers and partners, both on-site and remotely
- Using industry-standard software (CCH or similar)
About You
To be considered, you must:
- Be part-qualified or studying towards AAT, ACCA, or ICAEW (ACA)
- Have at least 1 year’s experience working in audit/corporate services within a UK accountancy firm
- Have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
