Accounts Assistant / AAT Trainee Accountant
King's Lynn, Norfolk | Full-time (37.5 hours) | Permanent | Up to £31,000
We're a modern, forward-thinking accountancy firm looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our King's Lynn office. This opportunity would suit someone looking to build a long-term career in practice, whether you're an AAT Trainee Accountant (via an apprenticeship if eligible) or a part-qualified AAT Accounts Technician.
This is a varied role with no audit work, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills in accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT and tax, while receiving outstanding AAT study support with a clear pathway through to ACCA.
What we're looking for
- Eager to learn and develop a career in accountancy.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good Excel skills and a working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
- Practice experience is desirable but not essential.
