  • Manage portfolio financial performance, including budgeting and billing oversight.
  • Supervise compliance reporting obligations, including CRS, FATCA, ATED and Trust Registration Service requirements.
  • Support charitable trust activity, including grant-making processes, beneficiary engagement, and preparation of associated governance documentation.
  • Oversee preparation and review of annual trust accounts and tax returns, alongside personal tax compliance for UK and international clients.
  • Advise on available reliefs and exemptions, calculate tax exposures, and manage related filings.
  • Review and manage Inheritance Tax reporting for complex trust arrangements and liaise with HMRC where necessary.
  • Monitor investment performance across trust portfolios, review investment reports, and contribute to trustee investment policy documentation.
  • Interpret trust instruments and related legal documentation; draft trustee resolutions, deeds of appointment, and other ancillary documents.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and liaise independently with banks, investment managers, valuers, accountants, and other professional advisers.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and professional obligations.

Candidate Profile

  • Significant experience managing UK trust structures with strong technical expertise in trust taxation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within trust and private wealth advisory.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong written communication skills, including drafting formal correspondence and documentation.
