US/UK Tax Manager
AJ Chambers are pleased to be working with a leading tax, legal and accounting practice based in London, to support them in their need for a US/UK tax specialist.
International Tax is an area of specialism which they have successfully grown and includes a U.S. Tax Return compliance service.
You would be expected to Maintain high service levels with regards to both colleagues and clients and display strong communication and interpersonal skills. You would also need to showcase an ability to work well under pressure as well as an ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
Main duties of role:
· Preparation of U.S. tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients.
· Collating tax information from clients and 3rd parties.
· Updating of tax return status on internal systems for reporting purposes.
· Completion of U.S. bank account forms, W8BENs, filing extensions etc.
· U.S. tax research and advice as needed.
Technical Skills and Experience:
· Technical knowledge of U.S. tax return procedures.
· Enrolled Agent / CPA (advantageous but not necessary as we already have one enrolled agent).
· 5 or more years’ experience in US/UK tax consulting.
· Generalist experience across UK/U.S. or specific U.S. focus.
