Tax Investigations Manager responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Dealing with disclosures, investigations, and disputes
• Working with Partners and Directors on complex tax planning projects
• Negotiate settlements
• Preparing reports for HMRC
• Work with clients to set realistic timescales
• Delegating appropriate levels of work to junior members of staff
• Develop, train, mentor and help to grow the existing team

Tax Investigations Manager requirements

• Previous experience within tax investigations, from HMRC or an Accountancy Practice
• Experience in managing a team
• Qualifications such as ACA/CTA is always preferred
