Senior Accountant | Harrow | £45k – £50k

We are working with a respected and growing accountancy firm based in Harrow that is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to focus on statutory accounts preparation. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant seeking broad client exposure and career progression in a supportive environment.

The Role

• Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and ideally IFRS
• Managing a portfolio of 100–200 clients across various sectors
• Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Liaising with clients and providing technical guidance where needed
• Working closely with managers and partners on complex technical queries

Requirements

• Part-Qualified or Qualified (PQ/Q) ACA / ACCA / equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and (ideally) IFRS
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts in practice
• Ability to manage multiple client deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Package & Benefits

• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000, depending on experience
• 5 days office-based during 3-month probation (flexibility after)
