Job Title: Semi-Senior Accountant

An independent, boutique-chartered accountancy firm is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly and growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain greater client exposure, progress into a Client Manager role, and join a social, supportive firm.
The Role:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of SME clients
- Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
- Supporting with bookkeeping tasks and cloud software use
- Liaising with clients and helping respond to ad hoc queries
- Working closely with Seniors and Managers to develop your experience
What They’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
- Practice experience with accounts prep, VAT, and bookkeeping
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn and take on more client responsibility
- Experience with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus
Salary & Benefits:
