You can be mixed, personal or corporate tax focused and can have the opportunity to specialise in either area.

​The role will have its own portfolio of clients and will be supported by tax seniors (who will have their own sub-portfolio) and tax juniors. You will be reporting directly to partners.

Key responsibilities for Private Client Tax Assistant Manager include:

​

· Review of corporation tax computations and LLP income tax computations prepared by the accounts/audit team for corporate clients in your portfolio.

· Preparation/review of:

o Personal tax returns

o Forms P11D

o ATED returns

o Employment related securities returns

o EMI scheme returns

· Managing the work flow and deadlines, from obtaining information internally and externally to ensuring the work is completed in an appropriate time scale.

· First point of contact for own portfolio of clients.

· Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.

· Dealing with HMRC enquiries into personal and corporate tax returns.

· Training and supervision of junior team members.

· Involvement in management of the team. Preparation of invoices for clients

Key responsibilities for Private Client Tax Assistant Manager include:

· Tax compliance experience (in house or practice)

· The ability to sign off on returns without having to seek partner assistance

· Digita experience would be a plus

· Qualified (ATT, CTA etc..) is desired, but not essential
