Mixed Tax Advisory Assistant | Hybrid Working!

My client are a leading independent advisory firm, seeking to bolster their team due to growth, by recruiting a Mixed Tax Advisory Assistant for their London office.

They are looking for highly skilled entrepreneurial individuals to join the team to assist them in achieving their growth plans for the future.

The firm outsources it's general compliance work so you are left to get involved in the more interesting and complex tax planning and advisory projects.

The Role:

You will work closely with the Tax Senior Manager and support them with tax planning, advisory work and implementing tax projects. The role will also involve dealing with ad-hoc tax queries from other departments and dealing with some tax compliance in specialist areas, as well as carrying out the following duties;

• Responsible for tax planning and advisory work
• Identifying opportunities and working with the clients
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries from tax team and other departments
• Assisting with the implementation of projects
• Assisting with ad-hoc advisory work
• Following established procedures for workflows and updating these when necessary
• Dealing with tax enquiries
• Conducting technical research

Qualifications/Experience:

Ideally you will be ATT qualified with tax experience, have experience working in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice. There is no expectation to have previous advisory experience as this is an excellent platform to launch your tax planning career.
