AJ Chambers are recruiting a Family Paralegal for a Boutique Law Firm In the City of London.
Duties
- Assist the Fee Earner with private family law cases.
- Draft correspondence to clients via letters and emails.
- Update clients on the status of their cases.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, precedents, and case details.
- Create court applications and legal aid applications.
- Meet with clients, understand their needs and take instructions.
- Liaise with 3rd parties, professionals and the other side.
- Attend hearings with the Solicitor.
- Draft witness statements, consent orders, form Es and briefs to counsel.
- Prepare court bundles.
Experience
- 1 years+ experience working as a Paralegal within Family law at a Law Firm
- Law degree completed heavily desired
- Ability to manage a fast paced and busy environment
