We’re working with a respected independent firm based in Northamptonshire, known for combining high-quality client work with a friendly, inclusive and people-first culture. They’re now looking for a Client Manager to join their growing team.

🌟 The Opportunity

You’ll take full ownership of a varied client portfolio, primarily made up of owner-managed businesses. From year-end accounts and tax returns to ongoing support and advisory work, you’ll be the key point of contact – trusted by your clients and supported by a close-knit team.

Key responsibilities:

· Preparing year-end accounts and tax returns to Partner review stage

· Handling VAT returns, bookkeeping, billing and workflow management

· Acting as first point of contact for your client portfolio

· Offering day-to-day advice and support to help clients achieve their goals

· Contributing to process improvement and internal collaboration

· Supporting juniors and building a positive team culture

· This is a role with plenty of autonomy – you'll be trusted to manage your time, build client relationships, and contribute to the wider growth of the firm.

✅ What We’re Looking For

· ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)

· Experience managing a client portfolio within practice

· Strong accounts and tax knowledge, with a commercial mindset

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Personable, proactive and a genuine team player
