A leading regional accountancy firm in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior Manager to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and play a key role in the firm’s continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to progress quickly to Associate level within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll be fully accountable for the delivery of high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a portfolio of clients with annual fees of c. £240k, acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, forecasts and budgets
- Reviewing and finalising work prepared by the team prior to Partner/Associate review
- Advising clients on complex accounting matters, including consolidations
- Managing billing, budgets and company secretarial compliance
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services
- Supporting business development, networking and marketing initiatives
About You:
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Confident managing a client portfolio and advising at senior level
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development
