Accounts Senior / Client Manager – Accountancy Practice

We’re working with a progressive and well-established Top 100 accountancy firm that’s looking to welcome an experienced practice accountant into their friendly and supportive team in Northampton.

The Role:

As an Accounts Senior or Client Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to a broad portfolio of clients. You'll work closely with both experienced colleagues and those still in training, supporting client delivery and internal development alike.

Key Responsibilities:

· Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities

· Monthly and quarterly management accounts

· Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns

· Building strong client relationships and beginning to manage your own portfolio

· Planning and overseeing workflow across the team

· Conducting client meetings and providing proactive advice to add value

· Supporting the development and training of junior team members

· Embracing and promoting new technology within the firm

· Demonstrating commercial awareness and contributing to business performance.

About You:

· ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience

· Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment

· Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax

· Confident communicator with a client-first approach

· Comfortable using modern accounting software and embracing new technology
