BD and Marketing Manager

AJ Chambers are assisting with a Top Tier 1 Law Firm in in the West End who have an exciting opportunity for Business Development and Marketing Manager to join the firm on a Permanent basis.

This firm is a specialised law firm clients working in the media, entertainment and advertising sectors, helping successful and innovative businesses and high-profile individuals with responsive, practical and bespoke legal advice.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of a successful and established brand in the legal sector.

Candidates will have at least 3 years business development or marketing experience spent working in a well-established and recognised law firm or other professional services or equivalent environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and will have excellent organisational skills, an ability to write and edit marketing materials and a positive "can-do" attitude. Excellent relationship, team building and collaboration skills are essential alongside an ability to handle a varied workload.

• Reporting to the Managing Partner, the role will cover a wide range of duties to include:
• Creating and implementing plans to raise the profile of the firm and to help develop strategies to win new business.
• Supporting the fee earners to help them build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective contacts, and to identify new business opportunities.
• Leading and managing all firm marketing events, to include seminars, webinars and hospitality.
• Maintaining the firm’s website to ensure the website and content is current; liaising with the firm’s web designers as required.
• Producing articles and literature including client newsletters and bulletins. Liaising with external designers to create new material as required. Uploading to the firm’s website and other social media platforms.
• Working with the firm’s external PR team to promote the business.
• Responding to enquiries generated by marketing activity and reacting accordingly.
• Staying up to date with current and emerging issues/trends

Remuneration will be at market rates, depending on experience.
