Salary: £32,000 – £48,000 (DOE)

Contractual Hours: Hybrid working – flexible start/finish with core hours 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (hours may vary depending on client needs)

We are recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior / Senior to join a growing Audit & Assurance team in Surrey.

The firm are a leading independent practice of chartered accountants, tax and business advisors with offices across Surrey. With over 50 staff, including experienced partners, they deliver audit, tax and advisory services to a wide variety of UK and international clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Lead or assist on audit assignments across multiple sectors, from planning to completion.

· Prepare audit files, undertake planning, and contribute to fieldwork.

· Supervise junior colleagues, reviewing their work and offering feedback.

· Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.

· Draft corporation tax computations.

· Liaise with clients, managers, and partners to ensure audits are delivered on time and within budget.

· Assist with advisory projects where required.

· Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training and on-the-job experience.


Personal Specification

· ACA / ACCA part-qualified, finalist or fully qualified (QBE considered).

· Minimum 2 years’ UK audit practice experience.

· Knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs.

· Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

· Familiarity with audit/accounting software desirable.
