The specialist Practice team at AJ Chambers is currently working in partnership with a growing Accountancy Practice who is on a growth path due to investment as they are looking for a Audit Director who can progress to a Partner.

Your responsibilities will include –

• Lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of audit services
• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing Audit team

In addition you will be responsible for managing existing client relationship and developing new one which could include –

• Collaborate with other service lines to provide integrated solutions for clients
• Represent the firm at industry events and build a network of contacts to promote services

This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that is in growth mode and is actively looking to add strength to their senior leadership team with a Director (or AD) who is looking to become a Partner, where Equity can be possible.

In addition to at least 10 years experience in Practice ideally in Audit coupled with –

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
• The desire to become an RI within the next 12 months
• Strong technical knowledge of audit standards, accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP), and regulatory requirements
• Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and client relationships
