Patent Litigation Associate

AJ Chambers arw working with a leading international law firm with a nationally recognized patent litigation practice is seeking a midlevel Patent Litigation Associate to join its growing team.

The firm represents sophisticated clients in complex patent disputes across a range of highly technical industries and offers associates the opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on high value, high profile matters.

Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience litigating patent disputes
• Strong experience in complex patent litigation matters
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience working with sophisticated corporate clients
• Strong academic credentials
• Admission to the NY state bar
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Nice to Have

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Experience with life sciences, pharmaceuticals, software, or other technically complex patent disputes
• Experience with PTAB/IPR proceedings
• Experience with Hatch-Waxman/ANDA litigation
• Federal court litigation experience
• Experience taking or defending depositions, arguing motions, and handling substantive litigation responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

• $260,000-$420,000 base salary, depending on qualifications and experience
