OMB Tax Director (Shrewsbury)

The Role

As an OMB Tax Director, you will provide strategic leadership on tax matters, overseeing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations, and delivering strategic tax advice and planning. You will drive business development, mentor senior team members, and focus on delivering exceptional client service while supporting the growth and reputation of the firm across regional offices.


Client Focus

  • Lead the management and development of client relationships, including key accounts.
  • Identify and deliver service improvements.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of clients’ current and future needs.
  • Understand market and commercial factors influencing client requirements.
  • Use a range of influencing approaches to achieve strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Relevant accountancy and/or tax qualification, or qualified by experience (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment, supported by relevant professional study and practical tax experience.
