Job Overview
This role sits within an established International Tax team based in London, focusing on advising large inbound and outbound multinational organisations. The successful candidate will join a high-performing team supporting complex global businesses.
The team is seeking a Manager-level individual to support ongoing growth. The role offers a dynamic and challenging environment with strong leadership and development opportunities.
Role Description
The position involves working with a varied portfolio of clients, including listed and multinational groups, across a range of international tax matters. Key areas include corporate tax, cross-border structuring, business reorganisations, international expansion, operating model redesign, and tax controversy. The role also involves engagement with evolving global tax developments such as BEPS 2.0.
This opportunity is suitable for an experienced Manager or a progressing Assistant Manager looking to step up. Experience with multinational clients is beneficial, though strong technical ability, motivation, and curiosity are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of international tax advisory services aligned with client commercial objectives.
- Manage and support the delivery of technically robust advice across areas such as structuring, refinancing, legal entity optimisation, and transaction-related reorganisations.
- Assist with tax authority enquiries and provide technical support to broader tax teams.
- Collaborate with specialists across different service lines and international offices.
- Coach and develop junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, tenders, and client presentations.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Act as a role model for organisational values and behaviours.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professionally qualified (e.g. ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and accounting principles.
- Experience in managing stakeholders and developing junior staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to provide practical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proactive, motivated, and detail-oriented approach.
- Commitment to continuous technical development.
