What would I be doing? 

Due to the continued impressive growth of our Capital Allowances services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Allowances Senior Manager to join our growing team in London, United Kingdom.

Hybrid pattern: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. (Would consider 1 day in London office and remainder of office days in regional offices)

In this pivotal role, you will help grow and shape our capital allowances practice contributing to business generation and providing expert advice to clients and managing complex projects across various industries.

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing capital allowances projects for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Developing and implementing strategies to maximize tax savings through capital allowances claims
  • Leading client meetings and presentations to explain complex tax concepts and recommendations
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in UK tax legislation and regulations affecting capital allowances
  • Collaborating with other tax specialists to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the capital allowances practice
  • Ensuring quality control and timely delivery of all project deliverables
  • Contributing to thought leadership initiatives, including articles, webinars, and industry events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Ideally professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or RICS
  • Experience in capital allowances tax consulting
  • Expertise in capital allowances calculations and claims across various industries
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax legislation changes
