Here at AJ Chambers we are representing a top 50 Accountancy practice, within the Northamptonshire area, who are looking for a Tax Senior.
Our client are a dynamic, multi-disciplinary firm that provides a broad range of services to their clients, including audit and assurance, tax advisory and compliance, corporate finance, and employment tax advisory. Additionally, offer commercial legal advice and personal financial planning to meet the diverse needs of clients.
They specialise in handling the international compliance and advisory requirements of businesses operating or investing globally. Through their international network of expert advisory firms, we deliver seamless, cross-border services that ensure the clients are supported wherever they operate.
What will you be doing?
· Tax returns – corporate and personal to review
· Assistance and also leading with the delivery of tax projects to include:
-Research and development tax credits.
-Employee share schemes.
-Company mergers and acquisitions.
-Company reconstructions and demergers.
-Experience in Stamp duty would be desirable
-Cross border tax experience would be desirable
· Assisting in the training of other team members
· Take ownership of projects, effectively delegate to others within the team and take responsibility for quality control
· Mentoring and develop people
What qualifications/skills are required?
· ACA or CTA (or equivalent) with extensive experience of tax compliance
· Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience
· Excellent Written and presentation skills
· Able to work under pressure and to tight dead lines
· Self-motivated and disciplined
· Work as part of a wider team
