They are on the hunt for a Accounts Senior to join there Banbury office, they are looking for someone that can play a part in their agriculture and property department, have the skills, I want to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

· Prepare client accounts and tax returns, advise on tax payable and ensure payment dates are met to set deadlines.

· Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts, acting proactively, ensuring attention to detail and effective questions of clients

· Working close with manager to develop knowledge of clients and their businesses to become their point of contact day to day.

· Assist partners and managers with tax planning for existing and potential clients, adding value to clients businesses.

· Support partners and managers with specific assignments

· Seek to identify business and personal tax planning opportunities, drawing to attention of partners/clients as appropriate

· Monitor own job quality in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceeding where possible

· Record own chargeable time and ensure maximum recovery

· Support trainees by providing on the job coaching

· Attend courses that are appropriate to the job role

· Use appropriate support networks to clarify knowledge on complex queries such as CCH or software vendors

· Book-keeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, when required

· Prepare client tax returns based on information supplied by client, advises on tax payable and payment dates and to meet deadlines.

· Assisting clients with account software and other book-keeping queries as required

What do you need?

· ACA or ACCA qualified

· 2 years or more experience within a practice environment

· Excellent communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Achiever and self-motivated

· Ability to complete personal tax returns accurately and efficiently

· Ability to complete accounts files accurately and efficiently

· Experience with cloud accounting (not essential)
