Bookkeeper | Payroll Support

This role will consist of:

• Bookkeeping for a portfolio of varied clients
• Preparing and filing VAT returns under maxing tax digital
• Preparing management accounts to trial balance

Within this role there is many opportunities for progression to continue developing:

• Preparation of full statutory company accounts

• Corporate and personal tax compliance and returns

This firm is also looking for an individual that has previous payroll experience to enable you in this role to offer holiday / absence cover to the Payroll Administrator.

Also, ideally you will need to have experience with using Sage / Xero as well as have a good knowledge of PAYE & VAT compliance obligations.

Outsourcing Senior | London | £40,000 - £50,000

Are you looking for new role as an Outsourcing Senior within a busy and expanding team -

Then we are working with a London based accountancy firm who are seeking an individual to join their growing Business Services Department!

You will help support the team by carrying out a range of roles:

• Preparing sole trader, partnership, and corporate accounts
• Preparing VAT returns for review by a manager
• Assisting with PAYE forms, P11Ds and P35s
• Preparing more advanced jobs for review by a Manager / Assistant Manager
• Preparing company tax computations, including deferred tax calculations
• Assisting with the induction and training of members of the team
• Reviewing work of juniors and give constructive feedback
• Assisting with more analysis and preparatory work for more complex cases
• Acquire a general knowledge of tax and an understanding of the principles of personal tax rules and PAYE

Ideally for this role you must be partly or recently qualified from ACCA / ICAEW / ICAS / ICAI /CIMA.

AJ Chambers are currently working with a Top 50 firm in London who is seeking to provide an opportunity to Audit Senior who will join their busy and growing Audit team.

Responsibilities:

• Being fully responsible for Audit jobs from start to finish including planning, fieldwork and finalisation
• Allocating and reviewing work completed by junior staff members in the team and providing feedback to assist with their development
• Monitoring the progress of Audits including performance vs budget, identifying any problem areas and keeping management informed of progress

Outsourcing Assistant Manager | London

AJ Chambers are working with a London-based firm who are providing a fantastic opportunity for an Outsourcing Assistant Manager to join a growing, and award-winning International Outsourcing Team.

You will have to focus on clients in the international technology sector wo are some of the fastest growing companies in the world. You’ll be providing direct assistance to the management team; supervising and reviewing monthly management accounts.

Role

• Controlling a portfolio of clients, ensuring all client reporting and deadlines are met
• Review of management accounts, ensuring technical accuracy before submitting to client
• Supervision of junior staff members
• WIP and billing control
• Managing the onboarding of new client accounts
• Assisting Management in the day to day running of the team
• Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Review payment runs and online payment submissions

You:

• ACA or ACCA qualified as well as post qualification experience
• Experience working in an outsourcing team within Accountancy Practice

Assistant Manager | £50,000 - £60,000 | Top 100 Firm

This role will consist of:

• Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, payments, and budgeting for clients
• Preparation of year end account
• Preparation and review of VAT returns for manager/partner sign off and client approval

The ideal candidate:
