You will have significant experience in bookkeeping and statutory accounts preparation and will have worked extensively in Practice.
Key responsibilities include:
The ability to self-manage and be/become responsible for a portfolio of clients. Preparation and completion of company accounts in accordance with firm’s policies and procedures. Depending on experience, carry out ad-hoc assignments (e.g. due diligence and systems reviews). Carry out work efficiently, to budget and within deadlines. Preparation of corporation tax computations. Supervise, train and mentor more junior members of staff. Keep up to date with technical knowledge, research and analyse financial statements and related issues. Proactively interact with client management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
Ideal requirements and qualifications:
ACA or ACCA Qualified Experience within a multi-partner practice. Excellent management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Leadership, training, and mentoring skills. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Iris, CCH, Sage, Xero and other accounting software. Experience and knowledge of CCH would be an advantage. Ideally a driver with own car.
