Trainee Bookkeeper | Accountancy Practice | No Accountancy Experience Required!

AJ Chambers are recruiting on behalf of a medium sized Accountancy Firm in Central London who are seeking a Trainee Bookkeeper to join their firm.

This is a fantastic role for a candidate educated to A Level standard, who is looking for their first step into Accountancy. No previous Accountancy experience is required, but the firm are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 years’ work experience – even if in a different sector.

Ideally, you will also have started studying AAT.

The main duties of the role will be:

• Sales and purchase ledger processing
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT and month end reporting
• Payroll

The firm are able to offer fantastic training within bookkeeping to give you a great start in your career and there is plenty of opportunity to progress through the firm.

Study support for the AAT will be offered upon completion of probation period.
