Corporate Tax Semi Senior - Top 50 Accountancy Firm

We are pleased to be working with a Top 50 firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Cambridge, who are looking to appointment an ambitious Corporate Tax Semi Senior.

Position: Corporate Tax Semi Senior

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000

This particular firm have an excellent retention rate for staff and are dedicated to the training and development of their employees. You will be placed on a training contract, studying towards your ATT/CTA qualifications and the firm will fund your tuition, exams and study leave for exam sittings.

What will your role entail?

Corporate tax compliance
Preparation of company tax computations and returns
Liaising with clients
Research on technical matters
Advising of payment amounts and deadlines
Correspondence with HMRC on clients’ tax affairs
Research and respond to internal and client queries
Assistance with tax advisory work, such as Research and Development Tax Credit claims and a range of other projects

What experience will you have?

Minimum of 2 years public practice experience, working within tax.
Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
AAT and/or CTA part qualified, would be ideal, but is not essential.
You will ideally have previous experience using specialist tax software systems.
