AJ Chambers are pleased to be working with a very progressive and modern firm of Chartered Accountants who have a fantastic opportunity for a Semi-Senior accountant to join their growing practice.
You would ideally have a couple of years’ experience within Practice and have good all round knowledge of general practice accounts, including outsourcing and year end. This opportunity will allow you to continue formal training and qualify as an accountant moving forward, but if you do not wish to continue studies, you will still be considered.
You would sit within a team of experienced Seniors, supporting them with their workflows and slowly preparing yourself to take over a portfolio of clients.
Typical Duties:
Some of your duties would include but not limited to Bookkeeping, VAT compliance and Preparation, (MTD, VAT Returns, MOSS Returns), Preparation of end of year accounts for limited companies and sole-traders, Corporation tax, Reconciliations, Management accounts, budgets, cashflows and other reports to meet client requirements

You would be offered in return a competitive salary, to start between £25,000 – £35,000 (Depending on experience), as well as full study support towards professional qualifications, free parking on site, flexible working policy (Including flexible hours and working from home) and exposure to a varied and growing client base.
You would also receive Hybrid working (Woking from home) as well as flexible hours, health care, holiday entitlement of 22 days plus Bank Holidays, going up to 25 days when you become a senior. You will also receive an extra day off for your Birthday
