Are you looking to expand your experience within Rewards and Benefits. I have a great role for someone looking to make that next move who has a basic understanding in basic HR reports and be process driven. This role sits within the wider Reward and Benefits team within HR and will work closely with the Business Partnering and Payroll teams. The HR function is split across six key areas: Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Reward, Change & Delivery and Learning & Development.

The role of Reward and Benefits Analyst reports to the Reward and Benefits Manager.

Role Description

The Reward and Benefits Analyst will work closely with the HR team and wider business focusing on Benefit administration processes and supporting the Reward Manager on wider Reward initiatives.

The role will, but not be limited to; supporting and administering employee compensation and benefit programs such as salaries, retirement plans, and life, health and disability insurance and the individual would:

• Have working knowledge of basic concepts and procedures;

• perform a variety of reward and benefit routine tasks

• Continue to build knowledge of the organisation and its processes

• Use prescribed guidelines or policies to analyse and resolve problems

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Reward and Benefit processes, including but not limited to updating the HR database with salary and benefit changes and enrolling employees onto benefit schemes

• Acting as first point of contact for all benefits queries, escalating them to Reward Manager where needed, providing a helpful and responsive service to the business in a timely manner

• Build relationships with external providers and administer the benefits as required such as with our Private Medical provider, Income Protection, Willis Towers Watson

• Assisting with annual benefit renewal processes

• Processing all Reward and Benefit third party invoices

• Communicating with the Payroll team on any benefit related changes such as:

• Private Medical Scheme joiners/leaver and changes

• Season Ticket Loans

• Recognition Scheme

• Cycle to Work

• Origination bonuses

• Long Service awards

Qualification and Experience

• Some experience in the Benefits space would be desirable but not essential

• Experience of running basic reports from an HR System

• Experience of using formulas and excel in day to day work

Person Specification

• Professional manner with the ability to work collaboratively across the firm and the HR function;

• Credible, articulate and comfortable with systems, data and analysis;

• Well organised with ability to work to tight deadlines

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proactive individual, keen to learn and develop and encourage process improvement

• Excellent attention to detail

• Highly numerate

• Pro-active team player, enthusiastic and positive attitude

Starting salary of £37000 + excellent benefits package and hybrid working
