AJ Chambers are pleased to be working with a Top 15 Firm of Chartered Accountants who are seeking an Audit Executive to become a member of their busy and social team! You will be working on a mixed portfolio of clients with 80% Audit and 20% Accounts with a fantastic opportunity for Hybrid Working!
Role:
- Conducting audit and accounts prep jobs.
- Completing the job before passing to the Manager for review.
- Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them.
- Complete audits in accordance with procedures, with assistance from more senior members of staff where required.
- Check and supervise the work of more junior staff both on site and in office and complete any sections as necessary.
- Sign off audit sections, address any problems and/or queries and complete the file before passing it on to the Partner/Director/Senior Manager/Manager for review.
- Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance with necessary regulations.
- Answer queries from juniors throughout the audit.
- Monitor the progress of jobs, ensure that budgets are met, address any problems that are encountered to ensure that the audit is finished within budget and timeframe.
Ideally, for this role you will need to be ACA / ACCA qualified with 2 years post qualification experience!
