PERSONAL TAX MANAGER

Overview
Manager of Tax Compliance Services. Day to day responsibility for the
management and supervision of all tax staff and related matters. To manage, control and develop a professional department, to work
with the Director and Tax Associate in providing effective and efficient services to clients. To
assist with the promotion of the Practice.
Main Objectives and Specific Responsibilities
- The maintenance, development and supervision of deadline controls as relating to tax matters.
- To ensure that tax work is completed in a timely manner to enhance the quality service provided to clients, with specific reference to the completion of SAR to avoid a winter build up.
- To ensure that Directors are kept informed of any matters relating to their clients' tax affairs that they need to be aware of to enable the Director to fulfil their responsibilities to their clients.
- To bring to the attention of Director and Staff changes in legislation and issues that affect the Practice and their clients.
- To supervise and train tax staff where practical and appropriate.
- To review tax work undertaken by tax staff and other team members.
- To work with Director and other Managers to maintain and where appropriate develop systems to ensure the appropriate levels of tax compliance and service are provided within the Practice.
- To draft articles and comments on tax matters for publication and be prepared to speak in public on tax matters if required.

Contractors & Sub-Contractors including CIS regulations

Inheritance Tax Planning
Interaction Income v Capital Taxes
