AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a leading Top 50 Firm on their search for a Tax Junior to join their Watford office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who believes in ‘friendly expertise’ and is an approach that has worked for their clients for over a century. Their focus is on providing personalised, friendly expert advice to a client bank ranging from owner managed businesses to high-net-worth individuals and trustees.
The successful applicant will focus on developing their personal tax skills as well as business tax, gaining exceptional experience, as well as full study support for the ATT/CTA qualification.
What will your role consist of?
- Preparing annual tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and forms P11Ds/PSAs/ATEDs, non-resident landlords
- Dealing with multi property rental accounts
- Assisting in dealing with Enquiries raised by HMRC
- Preparing basic capital gains computations
- Preparing/amending and/or approving letters and emails for the supervisor’s approval
- Drafting replies to client or third-party correspondence, seeking further input as appropriate
- Preparing other forms etc. as required by HMRC or other third parties
What are they looking for?
- Studying towards ATT/CTA qualification
- Solid understanding of taxation software
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- The ability to self-manage and work autonomously
