In this position, you will begin as an Business Services Manager, working largely digitally with a heavy focus on management accounts, VAT, Bookkeeping reviewing and some year end statutory accounts preparation.
A exceptional understanding of management accounts, cloud accounting (Xero) and VAT is required. Our client is looking for a safe pair of hands, technically sound candidate with good experience of management accounts preparation with a variety of sectors.
It is essential that the candidate is Xero Certified, with extensive knowledge and experience of Xero. You will be closely involved in assisting colleagues and clients on cloud based accounting software.
The successful individual will have the opportunity to grow the department and client offering.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing Bookkeeping Work
Reviewing statutory and management accounts
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Management of workflow within scheduled time
Keeping up to date technically
Liaising with clients and colleagues to resolve any issues
Training and Development of Junior staff members
Requirements:
Prior experience in Public Practice
Extensive experience with Xero and other cloud accounting packages. Essential Xero Certified.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
