Employee Incentives Lawyer (3 - 5 PQE) - Remote working role

£45,000 - £80,000

Shannon Aldis

Are you looking to join a forward-thinking, flexible law firm that offers excellent flexibility, remote working and a genuine work-life balance?

AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with an up-and-coming national law firm that focuses on advising start-up companies, entrepreneurs, and SMEs.

Aiming to disrupt the traditional legal market, our client adopts an innovative approach, delivering accessible advice to its clients whilst acting in a manner akin to in-house legal counsel.

Because of their approach, 90% of business development is done by in-house sales and marketing teams, freeing up their lawyers to focus on billable activity. With a target of 5.5 billable hours, and a lack of non-chargeable requirements, excellent flexibility and work-life balance are on offer.

Furthermore, most of the firm's lawyers work remotely, with only occasional travel to the office.

Growing at an incredibly fast pace, a new opening has arisen for an employee incentives solicitor to join the team.

Experience of drafting share plan documentation and advising on the practical issues related to the design and implementation of employee share plans, cash incentives plans and employee equity is essential.

  • Remote working with only occasional travel to an office
  • 5.5 billable hours target
  • No requirement to bring following and little BD work/non-chargeable hours
  • £45,000 – £80,000 base salary
  • 33 days holiday (including public holidays)

  • Property Solicitor - Residential
    £20,000 - 25,000

AJ Chambers are excited to be working alongside a growing and prestigious Law Practice who have a presence in both Essex and Suffolk who are looking to expand their residential property team with a qualified Solicitor.

The role will offer the succesful candidate a clear progressive career opportunity with the potential of reaching Partner level.

The main purpose of the role is to run a small to medium residential caseload (circa £180k fees per year) with the help of a full time paralegal. This is the complete opposite of a pile them high sell them cheap approach. The residential offering is an off shoot from the corporate client base.

It would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is fed up of the huge pressures residential solicitors have faced the last 2 years particularly working in larger firms who do mass conveyancing. This is a high quality service for a good price to a small number of clients.

You must have proven experience of:

registered and unregistered freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, mortgages/re-mortgages, transfers of equity (including matrimonial conveyancing), lease extensions, new builds, assignments of off-plan contracts, shared ownership and Right to Buy transactions.

Candidates will need to be c5 years PQE but a client following is not essential for the role.

A competitive salary and work life balance is on offer along with the opportunity to grow with the business.
