The Role
A Tax Semi Senior/Senior (level of appointed will depend on experience of the applicant) is being sought to join and complement the Bournemouth tax group.

The role will report directly to the Manager/Senior Manager and will involve assisting the team with the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a large portfolio of both personal and corporate clients.

The corporate tax portfolio is made up of a number of medium to large companies with a variety of businesses, including a professional football club, property investment and development, manufacturing and E-commerce. The personal tax portfolio is made up of high net worth individuals, including company directors, self-employed individuals, small to medium sized partnerships and trusts.  The role will also provide the opportunity to gain experience on advisory projects.

Preparation of corporation tax computation and corporation tax returns Liaising with clients on a variety of corporate tax compliance issues Liaising with audit and accounts teams, and dealing with workflows between departments Involvement on advisory assignment including capital allowance reviews, R&D tax relief claims, share transactions and more Attendance and involvement on regular team meetings to further corporate tax team goals, and also those of the local office, and the firm as a whole.Â

The Role
Carrying out Audits using a bespoke risk based approach for a range of clients across a variety of sectors including media, technology, property, hospitality and not-for-profit. PURPOSE OF ROLE
To manage a varied personal tax portfolio dealing with all routine personal tax compliance, preparation of tax returns and ad hoc advisory work. The role requires an individual who takes ownership/responsibility of the portfolio under the guidance of a Supervisor/Manager.

Role Description
As a Corporate Tax Supervisor you will report directly to our Corporate Tax Manager and Corporate Partner. You must have experience in and have detailed knowledge of all aspects of UK corporation tax and have a sound grasp of other business taxes to not only ensure clients are fully tax compliant but to also identify tax planning opportunities.
Exposure to international tax issues such as double taxation relief and double taxation treaties, Transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and CFC\'s would be ideal.
Alphatax, CCH Central, Caseware, Digita and Microsoft office software packages used. Knowledge and use of these packages would be beneficial.
