We are thrilled to be partnering with a highly regarded advisory firm in Royston, seeking a proactive HR Administrator to support their management team.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the HR function running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising and maintaining personnel files
- Keeping internal systems updated (e.g., tracking sick leave and maternity leave)
- Preparing essential HR documents, such as employment contracts and onboarding materials
- Assisting with updates to company policies and the staff handbook
- Responding to HR-related queries from staff
- Supporting payroll by providing employee data (e.g., leave, work schedules)
- Arranging meetings and taking minutes
- Assisting with the recruitment process
- Managing ongoing staff training (e.g., fire safety)
- Organising and booking first aid and fire warden courses
- Conducting DSE risk assessments
- Supporting the management of apprenticeship programmes and liaising with training providers
- Helping to maintain the company LinkedIn account as required
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office
- Good knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
