We are currently recruiting for an M&A Junior Consultant to join our growing team, specialised in the Legal and Accountancy sector.

This role would be to support our Head of Mergers & Acquisitions in the further growth of our presence within the Accountancy and Legal market, working closely with our well-established recruitment division, and excellent client network. You would be expected to locate and identify both sale and acquisition opportunities and develop client relationships underneath the guidance of our Head of M&A. You would have involvement in the deal process, assisting guidance of transactions, collection of relevant information and client communication. 

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions 
  • Must be a graduate with 2:1 or higher, ideally business or finance-related
  • Ambitious, wishing to learn and develop professionally

The ideal candidate will be motivated to offer an excellent customer service, as well as be a keen business developer, not only for themselves, but be able to generate opportunities for the wider business, which of course would be rewarded.

    The role will provide full secretarial support to the team leader ensuring client problems are solved efficiently

  • Legal Assistant - Conveyancing

    A busy and top regional law firm based in Southend is looking to expand its Residential and Commercial Property team with an experienced Legal Assistant to deal with the whole process of Post and Pre completion Conveyancing.

    The role will sit within a busy team supporting two Fee Earners, some of the duties will include:

    Dealing with sale enquiries and related technical matters relating to sales transactions under the supervision of the Property Lawyer. Preparing draft contract packages, searches, exchange and completion letters. Drafting non-standard non-technical correspondence. Proactively chase third parties by telephone and email in order to progress \'the deal’ Working alongside the layer to ensure exchange goals are met Preparing draft financial statements showing how sale proceeds are to be split Building excellent relationships through daily communication with Clients, Estate Agents, Property Developers, Brokers and Mortgage providers to ensure targets are met.
