AJ Chambers is partnered with a family-friendly, top boutique law firm based in Hitchin, seeking a Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
You will support 2 Fee Earners, reporting directly to a Director, assisting from start to finish on Conveyancing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist solicitors with all aspects of conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
· Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions.
· Conduct title searches and property due diligence.
· Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals.
· Manage and organise case files efficiently.
· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in a conveyancing role is essential.
· An understanding of the conveyancing process and property law would be beneficial.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
· A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
