AJ Chambers are proud to be working with a Leading Cambridge firm of Chartered accountants, to facilitate their search for an Employment tax Manager.
This role will see you working for existing Employment Tax clients and new clients on advisory and compliance matters with the ability to convert referral opportunities (both internally and externally from a strong network) into fees for the team. The role involves a great deal of client contact.
The client base is varied and includes start-ups, SMEs, many of which are owner-managed businesses, charities and the educational sector.
External/internal promotion of Employment Tax is required to generate new opportunities including presentations and networking.
You will be reporting into the partners and assisting in all aspects of technical work. Strategically developing, marketing, and growing the Employment Tax business, with particular reference to employment tax matters.
The successful candidate should have specific experience or an interest in either International Employment tax, or share related areas (Employee share incentives and risk finance funding (EIS/SEIS))

Leading the management and coordination of the firms compliance policies and procedures, identifying applicable regulatory requirements, and assisting in implementing processes to enable standards to be met. Working with service line leads to update and develop internal working practices focusing on quality, compliance, consistency, and efficiency. Able to identify opportunities for practical training of employees. Creating and delivering internal training workshops for students to complement their external studies towards AAT, ACA, and ACCA qualifications. These workshops will also focus on teaching students how to apply their technical learning in the workplace. Creating and delivering internal training workshops with a view to refreshing / updating technical skills across all our specialisms, and helping achieve a consistent approach to delivery across the firm. Undertaking cold file reviews.
